Yep. Sounds like hilly billies to me!My Coop is built into a hill...my Barn is up another hill..The shop is down a hill and pasture is yet another Hill...

thats ok. We live in the foothills but our property is flat. All we can claim is some redneck ingenuity in building our coops and runs.

I got the Billy Cook barrel racing saddle because it holds me in good because Kupid always throws in a few spooks for shits and giggles...I've just never used this kind except when I rode her yesterday. They may grow on me!I like the seat of it. The horn sits in a good spot, the back rounds my butt perfect, it sits on her back just right.

..Not all the time but when he gets bored. I have to sing or talk to him the entire time I ride to keep his focus on me...Lots of on top of old smokey gets sung...
Kupid when I first got him would bolt...We went on one hell of a ride one day...He bolted I fell off and his saddle slipped under him. He tore the entire fender off my vintage saddle..He never did that again..Oh my! The first time I ever went on a trail outside the paddock, my horse spooked by a rabbit, must have thought it was a snake. I was young and I didn't like to go fast, only up to a canter. Man, she took off into a full gallop and I'm trying to pull back on the reigns squeezing "whoa". I was just as spooked as she was which made her more spooked. We were a mess by the time we halted. Needless to say I lead her back at a slow and easy pace for us both. After that we got to where we just knew each other.

Definitely crazy times.....Kupid when I first got him would bolt...We went on one hell of a ride one day...He bolted I fell off and his saddle slipped under him. He tore the entire fender off my vintage saddle..He never did that again..
At least he keeps you on your toes!Kupid also has to be ridden with full contact to the reins..No loose reins because he is too forward..Give him an inch and he takes a mile...
When you ride Kupid you ride Kupid. Although he is fantastic..He is just high strung like Arabs are..He isn't prancing though...![]()
