Call Ducks or Bantams...Crazy Animals Around the Farm

Yesterday I cleaned up my Brooder and moved them back to the garage. Today I will wash and pack up my incubator for a well needed rest from Ducklings. I still have to clean out my garage Brooders and two crates. Then I'm totally finished with that till next spring...:woot...:wee:yesss:
sounds like a plan. I've been working on getting everyone's coops dug out and replacing their deep litter. Need to get a couple cow panels I can arch over the duck run and cover with plastic sheeting or something. Need to get stocked up on heat bulbs for the co-op lamps for winter. I don't like being unprepared for it.

I'm so tired.... been out already doing rdounds. I hate being an insomniac. And the RLS..... last to fall asleep, first to wake....

I think I'm going to take a nap.....
I'm the first one to bed and the first one awake everyday.
This smoke from the wildfires in BC is getting to me. Such a headache yesterday from it. Hope it clears off soon.:fl
Enjoy your nap...:frow

If his temperament isn’t what you wanted put him in the freezer. Don’t pay more than $15 for a cockerel unless he’s show quality.

Oh she’s away for a couple of days. Remember how I didn’t feel right buying those headphones for myself, well I treated myself to the mice.

Oh joy.

I've tried 3 Wyandotte roosters so far, and I won't try anymore. Every single one just grabbed hens whenever the urge hit him. Hopefully you have better luck with them than I did. :idunno
The person selling him said that the grandpa and father were friendly and good roosters that he won't breed mean ones.
I guess if I give it a go and it doesn't work out, I hear roosters taste good. ;)

My dog kept me up. Her ears start itching and then it is all night, plus she "talks" in her sleep. Ugh. No nap for me today, but one huge headache right now.
