I'm doing better. My husband is being an ass and on top of that he had a minor wreck in my brand new car. It's just been a rough few weeks.
The weather is getting better here, which makes me happy.

I hope you are doing good and all is well up there.
Yikes..:thI hope things get better soon..:hugs

No..Your cold too..:barnie..I hate this crap..:rant
The wind is really bad today. It will strip the skin off your face in seconds. I definitely would prefer something warmer. It isn't supposed to stick around too long and than it will warm up to the the 20's, or around -6 Celsius. That's warmer to me. :gig

It's supposed to start warming up by Monday :fl

It’s in the 70s here today. I’m still sick. I got my first duck egg yesterday. How long can they be stored and still be viable? I don’t plan to hatch any this year, last year was too disappointing-but I may offer eggs at our local farm swap.
I want to hatch speckled sussex/easter egger chicks. If I can find where my dang hens are laying!

On a brighter note, I’m getting TWO grand babies this year!

I only store my eggs for 10 days that I'm going to incubate.
Congrats Grandma....:wee

Generally after 10 days viability starts to fall off. You do need to store them correctly. Fat end up in a egg carton, set at about 30 degrees at one end, put a book under one side, and rotate the end up daily. Temperatures between 50-75 are best.

You have been sick a long time?
