I expected 5 muscovy eggs to hatch yesterday, but nothing. I candled and they never developed. I gave mom 3 more to sit on but I'm not sure if she wants to set another 35 days. The other ones eggs weren't developing either. I left 2 with black blobs with her but I think they are dead already, but I will give them another week. I guess I won't have too many ducklings which is good.

Kayla, female bunnies will hump for dominance, so it's always possible they are still females. I definitely would have a look. One of my bunnies weren't sexed correctly either, so it's always best to check them again after 3 months to be sure. You may want to separate anyways as many females will fight after sexual maturity. Dewlaps can take a while to develop on a female. The one does look kinda male to me too, so check them out.

My geese are big giants now. They like noodling on the goats, and the goats line up for it. Must be looking for ticks or flies on them. My chicks can run free now. Kitty isn't eating them. Hopefully my 2 turkey eggs will hatch this week. The band of misfits are doing well. That's my update. :)
That sucks Lisa..:hmm
Glad everyone else is doing good..:thumbsup

Good news: Tippin and Fauna are both girls! :celebrate:celebrate:ya:ya:ya
:woot:celebrate

The color of the bill at hatching is about 80-90% correct to know the sex of the ducklings on welsh Harlequin. Pink with a dark tip is female and all dark is male.

And because who can withstand ducklings in the bath here are some pictures.
