I'm finally getting everyone where they need to be too. I only have that one turkey poult being raised by my bantam hen that I will need to pull at some point. I'm sure that's gonna be a loud pain in my butt when I try to move it to the turkey pen.
Clover still cries non stop for his Chicks but I can't have him with them anymore..:th
Sometimes culling is a better decision..:hmm

Hopefully he knows he is a Turkey...:barnie..:smack...:th
Well that will come later. I've had bantams raise turkeys before. Of course this time it's a single so it's gonna be harder. I just need to pick the right time to pull it and hopefully the other 2 poults will accept it. If not I will raise it up and it can be dinner. I'm not making anymore turkeys after this. They drive me bananas. :th

I'll never raise a single baby bird alone again unless with its right species of Momma and even then it's hard...

It was a bad hatching year for me. I set 4 eggs and only the one hatched for me. I was having problems elsewhere in my life and this older bantam wanted the poult so I went with it knowing I was just putting off my problems. It was better than me raising it I figured. Singles are definitely a pain in the butt.

I know..Everything becomes exhausting...:th

I'm starting to think about that too here. I'm definitely gonna downsize, and see where it ends up. I may just keep a few bantams.
Yes...I'll only keep the Breeding Ducks I have and sell everything next year. I'll only keep certain Pullets from my Bantam Chicks and not keep anything next year from those either...
