Call ducks?

Welcome to BYC! It's nice to have you here! You'll soon find that the members here are like family! If you need info about chickens, drumstick diva is your gal. Call ducks are huge on personality and tiny in size... they fly extremely well but are also a favorite snack of predators... enclosed pen or secure housing is a must to keep them safe...

Depending on if you hatch and raise your own or purchase grown ducks will make a difference about whether they are friendly or skittish... they imprint super easy as hatchlings, as adults it takes time to earn their trust...

They're amazing and wonderful to raise and keep, but definitely not for everyone... females are extremely loud when excited, sounding off, or startled, so if noise is a factor, may need to rethink... that being said, they tend to have quieter talking voices throughout the day than large breed ducks...
