Call ducks

I have a couple of call ducks, hatched around Easter. A month ago it was obvious that bill was bill, and Monica was Monica. I got two more a month later, and I still can't tell. The are very quiet. I know I should count my blessings, but it's kinda weird. I've had my doubts that they're pure calls. Necks are a little look, heads not as round...

They look like pure calls to me. Just maybe not as “typey” as your whites. I don’t see any blatant disqualifications, to me they look lovely. I also personally think the white seem to be more abundant and easier to breed the typical fat, round bodies, short necks and bills, etc? I had a link to the SOP, but recently switched phones, so I’ll have to find it again. I love the greys.

If they aren’t pure call duck, they will get very large, and they appear very small. I had a few fairly hefty calls too. Not crosses, just not show quality birds.
