Hi I'm a Newbie here :frow, I have 3 call ducks I inherited when I took over an allotment they never really done anything. I moved there coop, made them a pond and let them free range and they came to life. Now I have one of my girls sitting on 10 (I think) eggs. My other girl has been laying some really small eggs with a really hard shiny shell then the past 2 days she has laid what I'd say was normal looking eggs. I have put a crate into the pen and she has laid an egg in it today I've stopped letting them out as I found her inside a bag of compost (I thought I had lost her) so I think she may be looking for a place to lay? Anyway the eggs why r some of then so tiny and will they only sit on eggs they know are fertile??
Thanks xx

I dont know the answer but ill incubate your eggs for you and let you know ;)
Call ducks are so cute
I hear young birds/ like less than 1 yr can sometimes lay smaller eggs until they are more mature
