Do call ducks pair up for mating? I have a greater number of females then males and it seems the males are pairing with a female. Will they mate the other females too?
 
Call ducks tend to pick a mate but usually will mate with other females. Just like any other drake, they can have favorites :) I have mostly pairs but do have some extra hens thrown in there and all had fertile eggs last season (they haven't started yet this season)
