“Hi” Lara whispered she turned back to the skyFern crouched ready to flee if she needed. All her instincts were telling her to run but something kept her.
Lara looked at her “what did you try and ask?” She whisperedFern was confused about why she kept looking up at the sky. Fern tilted her head to do the same. All she saw was the bright blue sky that matched her eyes. Why are you looking at the sky? she wanted to ask but all that came out was a sniff.
Fern was afraid to transform but she didn't know why. She couldn't tell if Lara's question was hostile or not.Lara looked at her “what did you try and ask?” She whispered

Lara glanced at her and immediately felt comfortedFern wondered why Lara's face was red and puffy. Was she crying? she asked no one in particular. Fern sensed Lara wasn't going to bully, hurt, or tease her so she cautiously padded up to her and sat looking up at the sky. It was a peaceful few seconds. Just what Fern liked, if she was lucky it would stay that way.
Lara suddenly heard a crash bear her eyes flew open and she shook Fern “Fox, Fox get up” she said “a bear we have to go now”. She changed into deer form and waited for the fix to get upFern curled her tail around her paws and heaved a sigh. She closed her eyes and listened to the sounds of the forest. Birds chirping, trees waving in the wind, creek flowing. It was the kind of quiet that most people missed. They were always caught up in talking or moving that they forgot to listen to the loud silence.
