Hi again, BYC community! I'm having some fear about whether or not I'm doing something wrong, and would love some validation and tips from the pros here that've successfully hatched duck eggs before.

So, for a bit of context here, I'm currently on day 25 of an incubation period, and am using a late-2000s Styrofoam hovabator incubator. Keep in mind that I have to manually refill the resevoir each time. On day 10, I've begun lightly misting the eggs, which I'm thinking of continuing to do throughout the lockdown period. I've kept the humidity consistent at around 55-60%, and recently -- as of yesterday afternoon -- have increased this to about 65-70% for lockdown, as per past BYC user recommendations.

I may have messed up with the temperature; See, up until day 24, I kept it at a consistent 37.5 degrees celsius, and it must have been a few hours on day 24, but when I came back home, the tempurature was up to 38.7 degrees celsius and I heard loud squeaking coming from the eggs! I turned it back down to 37.5 degrees celsius, misted the eggs since I assume they were overheating, and have not heard noise since. The egg turner is still in there as I don't want to unnecessarily disturb them. There are 7 eggs remaining since candling; 4 runners, 3 calls.

I also have no idea how to rescue these little guys if they become shrink wrapped!! Please let me know what you think, any advice/reassurance is greatly appreciated as my nerves are wracked. Much thanks!
