Calligraphy anyone?

We learned it in art class in school. Taught by our principal, he was a great artist but a bit exentric, he would switch the TV channel because he didnt like the green wallpaper/paint in a movie.

I have a set that the pen doesn't work. Instead I go with a turkey quill pen. I made it myself and it works great.

I used to do a lot of it-- but having Kids and arthritis - well, haven't in a while.

I Love doing pastels or watercolors then a poem in pen and ink (calligraphy) on top.

There are some good books out there, check the library, or Barns and Nobles. There are literally 1000's of styles (called Fonts) from basic "kewl" stuff to the really elaborite (as some folks here have shown)

It is a WONDERFUL pastime, and very useful!
