I have one BO pullet that’s about 12 weeks. She is extremely sweet but very shy. She’s kind of a loner and is definitely the bottom of the pecking order.

I have 2 Buff orps, one is a rooster. I quite like them except in my opinion they are rude to me, the silkies and the polish. I have handled them daily since chickhood and they are now 3 months old, so they may just be in the teenager mood. I named the cockerel Sugar Snap and the pullet Chickpea. I will try to post photos soon!
 
Our BO is the sweetest! She is 21 weeks Sunday. Does anyone else have one that is very protective of their flockmates? We only have one pullet laying, and when she is working on an egg Lemon will hang out with her in the nest box for moral support and sing her egg song with her! She is prob the next to lay so maybe she is just trying to see how it's done...
 
I have a hen I think is part buff orpington. She looks just like them except some black on her neck and tail feathers.
She's great, always comes up to me for petting when I open the coop door.
