This one’s Melba. I can’t seem to find a picture of my other one. They look very similar, but Melba is fluffier and loves laps. So does one of my Australorps, Mable.

Pippy & Poppy are best friends.

Lol! Poppy is Melba’s sister and Pippa is Mable’s sister. I have a bit of Mandela Syndrome, lol! I first named Mable and Pippa, then, for unknown reasons, couldn’t remember if it was Pippa or Poopy? And, was that Mable or Melba?

I love my girl Gilda so much that I use her photo for my avatar. She is bold and curious and pecks at my shirt any time I sit down. She cracks me up. Of our small group of five, she is the loudest, sometimes singing the egg song for 15 minutes. Other times she will just shout for the sake of it. Though she is dominant, she is buddies with the lowest of the pecking order. What a gal!
