Problem is though I can’t find any online that are available and my o my other neighbor with chickens doesn’t have that breed either and TSC hasn’t had the one I want in so... sad days

Maybe those chicks will finally arrive at the feed store now that I have luck on my side. They are selling fall chicks, and I really want brahmas, welsummers, Wyandottes, and a lakenvelder. LUCK, WORK.

But, I don’t want another BO. I have a very bad brain, and I can’t tell apart two animals that look the same. Buff Orps all look the same to me. I can only get one of a breed if they all the birds of that breed look the same.

Most Tractor Supply's sell chicks in spring, then they do it again in fall.

This year my TSC sold chicks all spring, all summer, and they are still selling them now!

Most of the feed stores around me only sell chicks in the spring. One of them buys all the leftover chicks from local hatcheries and sells them in the fall.

Oh, don't worry! You'll be able to tell them apart. Trust me. I, too, thought it would be impossible when I brought home my 3 little BO's!

I might get some more BOs next year, but not right now. I just want as many different looking breeds in my flock as possible so when I start hatching chicks from my birds, the chicks will look all funky and cool.
