So I thought sexing these little guys would be a no brainer and very cut and dried. Then I hatched six and have a few iffys. I started looking on line and found that it is not so simple. Some males can have a dot, some don't. I also read that some males may not have a dot, but their stripes can me muted, less defined. I have also read that males will not have eye barring and can be very blond. So what do I have here:

From L to R I think I have:
Male, Male, female, female, female and ???

This is a close up of the one on the far right end. It does have that dark V on its head, but is also lacking the distinct striping down the back. It also appears to have a bit of bluing to it.

Here is a close up of the far left chick in the group shot...It is really blonde.

Here is a close up of the second chick in the group shot...see the white spot, I am pretty certain this is a male.

Here is a close up of one that I am certain is a female.
So any input would be great. I totally thought it was going to be cut and dried...boy and girl...but a few of them really have me scratching my head!
