Golden Pheasant chicks? I have had our girl so long I forgot wat she looked like as a chick I wanted to get her some friends so I bought eggs online and when they hatched they looked so much like my Golden Phoenix chicks was wondering if there might have been a mix up. Also the eggs where much larger then my hens eggs was wondering from the start. Sorry couldnt get to many pictures with out a frizzle guinea or the turkey with them... all are so friendly. Anyway thanks for your help. They hatched april 20th

That looks like a pheasant next to the bourbon red turkey...

The one with all the black mottling on the face. But the rest look like chicken chicks, other than the BR turkey.

It is the two in front of picture in question the one next to the bourbon red turkey is one of my guineas and the one in the back left corner is one of my red frizzle cochins. I could only get a couple of them alone as we where putting them away. The others (turkey, guinea and frizzles) are just so friendly they wanted in the action too LOL

Cool... I'd never seen a guinea chick... I just knew it wasn't a chicken chick. The two in front are chickens... judging by the slate colored legs, they're Easter Eggers/Ameraucanas.

This one looks to be a roo... the other a pullet.
Don't know if that helps the situation or not...

Here's a silver pheasant chick, just a few days old...

Do you have a idea what they might be? I really wish I had taken pictres of my Golden Pheasant when she was a chick so I could have compared, but I have lots of my Golden Phoenix Chickens and these looked just like them Even the same size egg I thought humm cant be but you never know till you ask

My Pheasants eggs are even a different shape, but thought well this is her first year laying sooo maybe yes maybe no. This will be the 2nd time I have bought eggs that hatched out a different bird. 1st was guinea eggs that turned out to be turkeys, this time possible chickens when it should be pheasants. LOL
Well if you have never had the birds before or know the eggs you are gonna be fooled sometimes

They are pretty chicks though cant wait to see what they become.

Like I said above, the slate colored legs lead me to believe they're Easter Eggers/Ameraucanas. They should be beautiful when full grown.
