The false pregnancy thing doesn't make alot of sense to me because....

Both ranchhand and I have had it happen with our male dogs. When Jax did it with one of his toys I investigated and found out he had a little something stuck between his teeth. We humans have dental floss and toothpicks, dogs don't.

She may just be goofy, my shepherd was LOL! She was such a good dog though.

It's probably just the particular sound/pitch of the squeak toy. I have a GSD that whines at the sound of a harmonica, and her brother whined/yelped/or howled at almost any high pitched sound...including squeak toys. Silly dogs.
