how much do the temps vary from one end to the other? does it get much hotter closer to the bulb versus over at the corner furthest away from the light? Or does the fan pretty much equalize all that out??

Thanks,
Kathy

i am deffinatly going to have bator next time. Goats and a broody duck is just too much drama, lol.

Anyone make a bator out of a wood box , I have the stirafoam incubator and have to throw away 60 eggs they won't hatch. Wanted to try to make a incubator out of a 15 x 30 walnut box. Anyone have any ideas; please any advice would help. Thanks

I have a woodshop.

Making a plywood box is pretty quick.

What I want to do is make a better one (although this on just had 2 100% hatches)

I like the sandwich construction of thin ply, styrofoam and Formica. I also want PID temp control, and auto-humidity.

Never was one for standing still.
