Hi everyone!
I posted earlier in the summer and got mixed results..hopefully since some time has gone by I can get some great answers! I think this is a pullet, even though the big red comb says otherwise. I got Monica from a hatchery in Ohio and she was sexed as a pullet, yet every single neighbor who stops by complements us on our gorgeous "rooster" :barnie...I know leghorns have big combs, so I think she's just fine. Anyone out there familiar with leghorns, especially the light brown variety, care to comment? she is 11 weeks old. I am up before the sun, and no crowing as of yet.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

It sure looks like a gen to me. No curved tail feathers. Thinner legs. Comb is normal. It will actually grow much bigger as she gets older. These are white leghorns.

She is a pullet Brown Leghorn, I have 3 of them and they all have that Big Pretty Red Comb. They lay pretty white eggs. Most people say leghorns are flighty but mine hop right up on my lap for loves every day!
