Okay I have a HATCH!!!!!!!
Put 12 eggs in on Christmas eve and they hatched thursday night into friday am.
This was my first ever try with any incubator.
The only thing I had issues with was the humidity I think.
When it came time for them to pip the outer membrane was so leathery that they had a hard time getting through it.
Three actually pipped and then may because first time I got nervous and helped all of them the rest of the way.
Bit time consuming to carefully remove inner and outer membrane taking care not to bust blood vessels until they had dried up.
BUT 11 chicks out of 12 eggs (one was not fertile).
I kept inc full of water but I don't think it was good enough.
Keep me updated on how those wicking pads affect your hatch.
I have heard chicks die in shell by drowning with too much humidity.
ANY IDEAS OR ADVISE WOULD BE GREAT
I can't wait to do it again

So have you hatched any eggs with these?
Were there any issues.
Hatch rate.
Would love more info
thank you
Full disclosure - I HAVE NEVER HATCHED ANYTHING....not even a good idea!
They were recommended to me by two other Brinsea owners (who DO have a lot of experience).
I can tell you that it is making my job of maintaining my humidity at 40% VERY easy - before I set eggs, I even had it up to 75% just to give it a try.
