I'm heartbroken.

I set 7 eggs in my Mini Advance, and decided to candle today (day 17). Five out of the seven are quitters.

I sure hope the last two hatch.....

Thank you! I was my first test hatch of goslings, so I figured I should wait until I ACTUALLY hatched something to jump in!

Not sure if this counts as an entry but these hatched on St Patrick's day, 6 Appenzeller Spitzhaubens in a mini advance. The big one is an older bantam cochin chick I put in there as a brooder tour guide.

Well , I went & loaded the bator again. This time I put 70 coturnix eggs in it. Kind of scary their so small & fragile. 3 eggs were broken & I broke one. Ouch !!!!

Ok I hAve12 more in lockdown. It was supposed to be last night but I was busy looking for shorts long enough for 14 yr DH to wear to school last night what a chore that wAs so they will be ok
