Calling all non-stamp collectors

Dang. You have out-typed me again.
All is well. I still respect you.

ACK!!! See what happens when I go to work?

Reminder -- this is not for discussion, merely identification. I have gotten lots of PM's from people who quietly thank me for being outspoken, and that they are also non-stamp collectors to varying degrees, but are leery of letting it be known because of all the references dropped by those who happily collect stamps and are not shy about letting others know. All I want for this thread is for someone to see it, to know that stamp collecting is not a requirement for being a human being, and know that there are more of us. That's it. So please, to keep this thread from being closed, let's keep it free of debate or denouncement or even discussion. Use it for identification, and for making a sort of "buddy list" if you wish, and taking further conversations to PM'ing.

Thank you.

ETA -- perhaps a link to the thread can be posted to our signatures?

The "non-stamp collector" term appears in a lot of relevant literature, typically used when people say atheism is a religion. The retort is "well, by that token, is non-stamp collecting a hobby? Is not playing football a sport?" So it's sort of code for those "in the know" without being offensive to "stamp collectors."

Like in the old days, when a man might ask another man, "Are you a friend of Dorothy's?"

But anyway....back to "non-discussion."

I find it funny odd that as I understand what a nonstampcollector is is a following of a youtube video maker that makes rude demeaning videos of Christians and Jews for entertainment. Maybe I am mistaken.

I think you're highly mistaken. And off topic.

I think the best way to describe the term is non-religious.
