Calling ALL Pekin duck people!!! HELP ME

Everything I have read on drakes is that they have the tell tell curly feathers at the end if the tail , mine bigger pekin does not have the curly feathers. My question is ....is it possible for a drake to never have said drake feathers at all, and sound very close to the female he is raised with??

If it Quacks loud like the other one it is a Hen..Drakes are Raspy sounding..if it is a Drake he might not get his tail curl till the next molt.

I made a short video of them. When i let them out first thing in the morning they scream and talk a lot more but they were already out for the day. If another video would be better please let me know. Thanks everyone who has commented!!

Sounds like 2 girls to me! So one is laying and the other just isn't ready yet. Others may have some better ideas....

lol..That's just regular Duck sounds they all make. Pickup the one you think is a Drake and walk away with it. It will definitely let out loud Quacks if a Hen..
