Calling All Rabbit Nutters

We let Treb out to free range.
He's so dumb.
When I put him back in his room he threw a fit.
He thumped 7 or 8 times.
It was hilarious at first and then I felt sorry for him because he was upset.

I'm amazed that this thread was started 2 months ago and already has 225 pages! Who knew bunnies were so popular?

I ended up with a buns this summer who had been dumped, abandoned, or lost. I bought a 2 ft x 4 ft cage on Amazon which works great as his "space" but he has the run of our 10 ft x 12 ft sunroom during the day. I only keep him caged at night. He gets along great with my cats but I have had to bunny-proof the room. He chewed up some cords and could have started a fire. Luckily I found (read: touched) the frayed wire before it did any damage. He also chewed up my vertical blinds. I've been worried he will get an impaction so I watch his poops closely. He is litter box trained. He has his own box in his cage. I use a mix of pine pellets covered by shredded paper towels. But he also uses a corner kitty litter box that is in the same room.

I have an outdoor 2-story cat house (2 ft x 6ft)that I use to let my kitties enjoy the outdoors. They access it through a window that I open in the sunroom. The bunny loves to go out there too and lounge.

Anyway, our fella's name is Hazel. We named him after the main bunny in Watership Downs since that's what he looks like
