Calling All Rabbit Nutters

Someone just came close to dying.
Two things toast.

The little shitter escaped his room again today.

He will no longer be allowed out of the two jail cages unless I am home.

Scheduled a rabbit neuter for $180 all the way in February. Well I have to separate him from my other bunny after the surgery and how do I take care of him?
After the surgery, you have to make sure he doesn't run or jump.
Also, super important, he can't lick his stitches. Chili was supposed to wear a cone, but he hated it. So, we took an old stocking, cut a piece of the leg part, and rolled it up to make a thick collar. That worked really well for him. For the bunny we're fostering right now, we actually had to make him a onesie so he couldn't lick himself.
You're probably going to have to give him some medicine too. Just put him on your lap, hold his head, and put the syringe into the side of his mouth, behind the front teeth.
You can pick him up after the surgery, but you probably shouldn't do it too often, and you have to be very gentle. Support his bum, but don't touch the wound.

The vet said the cost covered the medicine , how do I make sure he doesn’t lick his wound 😬 I’m a bit worried about that part....

The vet will probably give you a cone. You can try that first. If he keeps it on, great. If not you can make a collar out of an old stocking, or you can make him a onesie if the collar doesn't work.

I wouldn't pick him up for a while. Other than that I don't plan on doing anything different when it's Treb's time.
Okay! I’ve heard for about a week? Will I need to keep him inside the house? I’ll beg my dad, although I doubt he’ll let. 😩😭 I want to monitor him after that especially since it will probably we cold and rainy at that time of year.

Will you please make one of these stocking cones so we can see what you're talking about?

I honestly do not plan on doing anything except not picking my rabbit up.
