You have to do something to stop him from licking. For bunny neuters, they don't put in sutures. They just glue the wound shut. So if they lick, it dissolves the glue and the whole wound will open up again.

So, I just cut a piece of stocking like this:

And then I rolled it up to make a collar like this:

You would probably have to make yours bigger. Chili is tiny, so this was enough for him. But Treb is quite a bit bigger.

Okay! I’ve heard for about a week? Will I need to keep him inside the house? I’ll beg my dad, although I doubt he’ll let. I want to monitor him after that especially since it will probably we cold and rainy at that time of year.

It would be best to keep him inside. Especially if it's going to be very wet.

Heard seasoned flour and hot oil is a guaranteed cure.

I've never had a rabbit that I had to worry about being Houdini. You have to show us the modifications. I thought the blanket fort was admirable.

The blanket fort is ghetto.
The blanket actually works because the dummy doesn't try to jump into it.

The second escape he managed to move piece of thin cardboard wall over just enough that he could squeeze around the edge of it.


I did not finish building my new contraption today.
I should finish it tomorrow though and I'll post pictures.
