I'd really like to get trebby a friend but I really don't want to screw him up or cause any rabbit problems.
I would rather have one happy bunny than two cranky ones.
But I really really really kind of want another dumb dumb.

This "not all bunnies will bond" idea also applies to breeding pairs. Some does want a rougher male, while others just want a buck who will lick their ears and rub their cheeks for a minute. Peeves is a little of both.

You could try doing some bunny speed dates at a rescue like Little Duck suggested. That is a good way to find out if Treb is even interested in having a friend. If he is a true loner that should become obvious.
