I accidentally do ran into a bunny mill trunk breeder today.
I saw a deal happening in a parking lot and could help myself. I had to go ask questions.

I pretended I was looking for a lop.
She said to check back with her weekly because she has litters weekly and they sell quick.
She gave me her website address.

You would be surprised what people will pay if you raise the price high enough. I see it with my turkeys. If they don't sell, I keep raising the price. When I get the price high enough I get into a different class of buyer.

They won't even look at something until the price is high enough to suit them.

I get two different results. The first price raise gets the people that were waiting for the price to drop. That group responds very quickly by hurrying up and buying them. It takes longer and even higher prices to bring in the ones that won't consider the cheap stuff.

It's kind of like trying to give something away versus selling it. Most of the time it is easier to sell it.

I don't think this lady actually knew what the hell she was saying. The more she talked the more disgusted I got. She took all eight rabbits out of the little four section cage and tried to sell me each and every one of them Even though I made it clear that I only wanted a Holland lop... Which I clearly saw she didn't have any of.

A little while ago I went back to my local craigslist to go look for this particular lady's ads which I did see this morning when I was checking her out. All of her ads on craigslist are gone. I'm guessing this either means she's sold all of the rabbits that she was driving around this morning or somebody reported her ads and they were removed.

Craigslist does have a rule against advertising pets.
