Calling all sebastopol owners!!!

NEW!
I'm getting a pair of 2008 saddleback Sebastopols next week!!!

Will post pics when I get them.

What Breeder? I find those to be very pretty! I've only seen pics of them.
I just bought the Brit book "Domestic Geese" by Chris Ashton. It is very
informative, but doesn't cover a lot of topics such as winter feeding which I need more info on.

I'm getting them from a friend in Kansas.
Her colored breeding stock Sebs are all from Dave Holderread.
If anybody wants breeding stock he has some for sale right now.
My friend doesn't have anything for sale now but might this spring.
She doesn't sell hatching eggs or goslings only young adults and adults.
I'm also getting a white, curly Seb gander from her that is a saddleback carrier so I can breed him to white and get whites and breed him to SB's and get SB.
I'm really looking forward to breeding colored Sebs.
It will be a fun project!

Yaaaa... tell me about chores in the winter.
After I don my hoodie and Carhart barn coat and my 10 lb. boots I feel like some old decripet granny (well I am a granny)

but a really old granny trudging thru the snow 1 mile an hour....I wonder why I have those crazy critters but once I get out there I enjoy it... the fresh air and winter wonderland.
I'd be holed up inside all winter if I didn't have my birdies.
But I do try to keep my numbers down though so its not
overwhelming.

Hey just talked to the gal I got my SB's from and she does have some curly breasted white ganders that carry saddleback and some smooth breasted saddleback females for sale.
She also has some pet quality smooth whites that she would sell cheap to good homes.
Her Sebs are very good quality and well taken care of.
If anybody is interested PM me for her email address.

Hey we raise and love Sebs too...here is a picture of a pair of new breeders we recently purchased at the Columbus Ohio Nationals Show, the female placed RV at the show. We are constantly trying to improve our stock...gosh we are up to 4 pairs of breeders now..

turbo....Jerry? that you!!!! You, sir, have increadable stock (viewing pics). Please explain something....on your website you explain that the hatching of Sebastopol is not an easy task. Can you go into more detail for everyone on this subject? Claudia

Turbo...very nice pair!
Who is the breeder (Audrey Overton by any chance?)and what are the bloodlines on your other Sebs?
