On Friday I'm gonna give this broody girl some chicks

Ooo, that's exciting! I have a couple broodys right now and it's so fun watching the mamas and babies!

Early 2000's is okay, but I especially like Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, Merle Haggard, etc.

Im trying to force a hen to gk broody. She was last week then she quit so im trying to get her to go broody again!

I know people are pining for broodies but I find them so innoying. I have like 8 broodies
The 2 clutches of eggs are on day 15 now but only because there are so many chickens wanting to sit that it's impossible for the eggs to go very long without being sat on.

Im trying to force a hen to gk broody. She was last week then she quit so im trying to get her to go broody again!

I also had a Serama hen go broody. I had kinda given up hope for any more natural Serama chicks this year after the other 3 hens hatched 2 and they both died. She has 3 eggs currently but I will give her more. Hope she does a good job

Also to encourage broodiness, make sure they have a dark comfortable spot to sit and have privacy, and you could give her some golf balls or rocks to.sit on

I have a broody dark brahma hen too and she is MEAN! She will try to bite my hand off if I go anywhere near her so I have to reach under her with a stick to collect eggs lol. I don't think I will be giving her any chicks
