Dang. I definately think it was her responsibility to tell y'all she doesn't know how to take care of fish before she agreed to care for them. It was her responsibility to keep them safe and cared for, and she failed to acquire the knowledge necessary to do so. It's as simple as that. Im sure her intention was never to hurt the fish but I've had many pet sitting jobs and I always call the owner if I have questions.

Maybe she doesn't care that much and she is one of those "it's just a fish" type of people. but idk. I hope the fish you do have left are doing ok

I had multiple things of instructions that were very simple, one in plain sight the second you walk in my room and a sheet that I gave to her. I think it was just a complete lack of care

man, I can see her giving the fish a little more than you said to be sure she wasn't underfeeding them, because that's what my dad did when I was gone for a few days (they ended up being fine) but 10x more? im sorry man
