Calling all teenagers

These are what chiggers are i took them off the internet. The second picture is what they look like once you get them. Its disgusting and it itches really bad

I know i only get a runny nose or itchy eyes. My dad is the worse dust, pollen, trees, grass, bees, cats, and a ton of other things. It’s super hard to get a site if you dont book early. We dont have any booked yet but we start booking beginning of April. I’ll post a picture of what chiggers are. But they are little bumps on your leg that take forever to go away. I only have 5 chickens and they are in a enclosed run anf i have a camera in the coop. I fill the feeder up all the way it holds almost a whold bag of food. And then we made a waterer out of PVC which holds lots of water plus i have another waterer and a black tub i will fill with water. Im never worried about the food or waterer running out, it’s just leaving them alone and not being able to see if something is wrong. 2 of mine have frostbite, from the storm before Christmas.

Exactly!! I can control making sure they have food and water and that their run is secure and that their automatic door opens and closes every day because I have the technology to do so. It’s the stuff out of my control that scares me. We had a mite infestation that me and my dad both thought was way milder than it was and three hens went broody while we were away last summer. I came back and they were all three dead in the corner of the coop. If I had been home, then I would have noticed and dealt with the infestation and they wouldn’t have died. It’s things like that that scare me

Exactly!! I can control making sure they have food and water and that their run is secure and that their automatic door opens and closes every day because I have the technology to do so. Im sorry for your losses. Luckly i havent yet had any diseases or critically injured chickens.

I like camping trips, although when one does a multi-day trip it can get a bit tiring. Probable partly because we try to fit in as much as we can, and move camp every day.
Last time there was a ton of mozzies, but luckily our tent is well sealed enough for them not to be able to get in.
If it wasn't, that would have been miserable!

They were, the third and last time i will ever go tent camping. And the worst of it all is we had just brought home a new puppy and it was my birthday. So it was super hard to try to deal with the puppy. While trying not to itch the chiggers.

We usally go Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise its a week long trip. We woulf usally leave Thursday at 1 p.m and then get to the place by 3 or 4 and by time we set up and eat supper we are all ready for bed, then on Sunday we are all up by 8 to pack up. so really we only ever stay for 2 days and 3 nights. If we moved everyday im sure it would be tiring.

I kind of looked up to him, and have met the wife of his co-driver, so despite being on the other side of the world its pretty devastating

Anyone got any plans for 2023?
I don't really, except last year we got into rallying, and I co-drive, so will be competing in a fair few events.
Sometime I will think about maybe moving out, and find a job, but I don't think the time is quite right for that just yet.

Mine is mainly traveling and continue to save up
