Calling all teenagers

I like those people!
Me to!
I try to be one of them, and I think I am most of the time, but it is hard sometimes
I need to try a bit harder.

Around here, on the county roads, there is a tradition of giving a wave to every car that goes past.
Is that common in other parts of the world, or an Australian thing to you think?
Obviously not in cities or on the big highways.

I feel like people here in wyoming do that fairly often. I live outside a college town though so I don't think it happens as often here as it does in other parts of Wyoming.
I don't drive yet, I can get my learners permit but I don't really want to...

It make sense that people do all over the world, I just didn't know for sure.

Why don't you? I didn't want to either, mostly because I was a bit scared of messing up.
I waited year longer then I could have, before getting up the nerve to do it.
But as soon as I drove a car on the road, I loved it! There is nothing I like more than driving.
I don't know how many manuals you have over there, but they are so fun to drive.
You can do things like heel & toe, where you use the same food to cover both the braking and accelerator, leaving your left foot free for the clutch.
Left food braking is another thing that I am just learning to do.
Anyway, sorry for rambling...
I guess I just wanted to say that even if you don't think you want to, if you do it you might like it.
I regret not getting there sooner.

I've driven manuals before and attempted a clutch killed it nearly everytime. We currently only have manuals in a way at least out of working vehicles. I am terrible at braking im either to jerky with the brakes or I brake way to soon when I park the car.

Im kind of worried about failing. My parents haven't really mentioned it much and I don't mention it myself so. I should start doing research again.

That sounds very much like my first attempts.
I had actually forgotten how much I struggled with clutch control. I am not going to try and remember how many times I stalled it.

There are some quite good yt videos around, both on the actually driving (like using the clutch and brake) and on hazard avoidance and things.

I don't know if it was just me, but when my dad tried to teach me, it just didn't work.
I nearly had a nervous breakdown!
In the end, my brothers taught me, and that when a lot better. If I didn't have older brothers, I would most likely have found someone else to teach me.

I don't know if my dad has ever helped with driving, it's always either been my mom or one of my siblings.

And something that just sprung to mind was helping people back up (standing outside the vehicle) with or without a trailer I am terrible at that and get real nervous.
