oh and they force people to take them. It isn't even a voluntary test for us. We were threatened with out of school suspension if we talked, didn't give every piece of technology besides for our Chromebooks, or did anything someone didn't like. And they don't even really count for anything!

Also, I have modded Chromebooks to run Linux. Makes them useful.

(Usually old ones not attached to a school).

What does that do and how would one hypothetically go about doing that to a school owned device? Probably shouldn't be typing this on a school owned Chromebook but oh well.

Well, if you owned the device you could do it, and you did that, you could run Linux and do whatever you want so long as it would run on Linux.

You can't do it on a school chrombook as far as I'm concerned.

Linux=open source operating system. Instead of Windows I use Linux.
