Are you going to try and install this on a device that isn't your school Chromebook?

Your school Chromebook cannot run that it's because your school has a lock on it that prevents it from being used. The method to install it requires you to have access to a terminal and whatnot that is locked down on such devices.

I recommend Linux Mint if you're just getting started with Linux. It's pretty good and pretty easy to use and install. If you've got your own computer, you can install it on there and it should work.
