Happier topic... What is your favorite chicken memory? and Why?

My old NHR rooster used to give hugs. If you knelt down, he would rush over and rest his beak on your shoulder and lay his wings on your knees sometimes even. He would just sit in your lap and let you pet him, even being almost 11 pounds.

Mine is when I thought it would be cool to teach a chicken to jump on a lilac tree in their pen and then she taught all of the other hens to do the same and we constantly had to round them up If anyone ever tells me that chickens are dum they haven't spent enough time with them lol

That's awesome!!! there was a horse at my old stable that did that you just walk into him and he would put his head and neck around you for a hug! I love animals!!!!

The only downside to them is they don’t have quite as many breeds as other places. But other than that they are amazing. I think they were at the post office within 12 hours of being shipped, everyone was and has been very healthy and their personalities are all amazing (although that has a lot to do with socializing them). and one super nice thing that I love is that the extra chick wasn’t just the cheapest thing they had. The actual added an extra JG, Prudy, which was the most expensive by around $10

I'm back! I stayed up Until 1am trying to learn how to crochet lol. I would've come here earlier but I had church and then went to the store with my sister to get a couple things. hopefully I didn't miss too much lol. here's what i crocheted. it looks deformed : /
