Oriental gamefowl are much fancier than silkies.

It's a different kind of fanciness. and I think most people like silkies because they are cute, fluffy, and very docile

It was what breeds I think they should get instead of silkies not similar breeds

INSTEAD of silkies kinda implies other suitable breeds IMO. Which would mean other calm, docile birds. Which are not gamefowl.

all I know is, if you get silkies there is a 99.999999999999% chance you won't regret it. that is true with many breeds though (chickens are amazing!)
