my husband is a soldier in the army.. been in for 9 years and has re-enlisted.. just got back from his third tour in Iraq a few months ago.. he has to work today... 24 hour CQ shift...
wish he could be home.. but eh.. tis part of his job

DH was in Marines, Marine Reserves and Army Reserves
Sister was in Air Force and her DH is still in Air Force Reserves
DH's brother was in Marines
DH's Best friend is in currently serving in Marines in Afghanistan
DH's father was in the Army
My uncle was in the Air Force
My cousin was in Coast Guard and Navy
DH's uncles all 6 were in service 1 Marine, 5 Army
My oldest son just swore into Marines and will be shipping out to boot camp end of July 2012.
DH spent yesterday with his "brothers" in Philly celebrating the Marine Corps 236 birthday!

Staff Sgt. USAF. 7 years. Security Forces. Main base was Pope AFB, NC. Deployed to Saudi Arabia, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Germany, Canada, Ireland, Sicily, Afghanistan. Busy Career. My hubby was a Sgt in the Marines for 6 years, stationed in Cali and Japan, small arms repair.
