Ok here is my around 5 week old button baby that I just put in with all my week old button cortunix and oegb chicks this morning , can you tell if its a boy or a girl , I cant get a full body shot very easly as this lil freak is a spazoid.

Oh and one more question unless you think I should make a new post for it , I had 20 button quail hatch about a week ago one died 2 days later and I have 3 that are not growing they are tiny still they look like day olds no feathers or anything while the other 16 are at least twice there size and have most there wing feathers already any ideas??

might be that the others are not letting them eat enough...what % protein are you giving them?

Looks like a hen to me wild color. Hard to be sure with out a body shot.
Don't worry about the little ones sometimes there are runts they should catch up

I dont know the % I just bought 2 5 lb bags that they took out of a 25 lb bag for me its wild game starter or its sapose to be thats all I know , Ill try to take a body shot but this lil one is pretty freaky Im always afriad it will hurt its self. Im not shure about weather or not the smllest one will make it Im thinking of putting the 3 in ethere by themselves or with my newly hatched chicks and grinding up a little cat food. ??
