WOW that will make one heck of a shop! Is the house part behind the doors?

doors number 1 and 2 are bathrooms. 3 is a spare room. . . guess it was a storage room or classroom. That board there is just a board. . the opening is the door. That will be our spare room . .we will probably use it for our bedroom while we work on the main part.
4 is where the coal furnace is. We will have to figure out how to get that out of there. . hoping to make that the laundry room. And maybe put the furnace in there and hot water heater. . it's a pretty big room. Around 12 by 15.

The arrow points to where the cafeteria was. That's where the main living space will be.
Here's the tentative plan on how we intend to set it up.

We will be building a wall along those beams you see in the picture there stopping halfway between the two bathrooms so that one bathroom will remain in the shop.
The shop side of the wall will be metal of course. . and it will have to be well insulated to drown out shop noise from the house.
I'm thinking pallet wood on the interior side.
I also think it would be cool on the end of that hallway, to build a couple twin size Murphy beds. . like bunk beds . . for the grand kids. They could be folded up when not in use. We have So many thoughts and ideas. . it's only a matter of time and money.

A lot of ankle scratching, lol

I picked up some seed ticks on Saturday when doing chores at one of the bee hives... I know the rest of you Missouri folks like those bugs , but I’m not a fan.

We have some evening primrose blooming

And our peach trees are ‘plum’ full... last year we got quite a few... this year we’ll see what the squirrels and bugs leave us

Lamar should be quite proud!

That’s a good haul... for just sitting around showing folks how smart you are... I think any time I ever tried that it ended up costing me money

I did see a monarch looking flutter fly a couple times this weekend... it wouldn’t sit still so I couldn’t be 100% sure that it wasn’t a Viceroy
