If was a pretty nice day in this part of the show me state.

I happened past a patch of wild bergamot today and saw a few of these Sphinx moths





And lots of flutter flies and bumblely bees ... I didn’t snap any bee pics though

The most I could get in one pic was 3, but there were probably about ten swallow tails of three different species working the flowers... it was like a flutter fly convention

It was pretty nice here today too. We spent some time out at the school house. .got some metal moved so we have a nice start on of an open area.

Then I come back home and sold some ducks

We did go over to the Ozark Empire Fair yesterday morning. It was not crowded, and it was not hot. We had other errands in Springfield, and needed a day off so we went. DH and I shared a Pineapple Whip....
Here is the poultry exhibit from above, not extensive, but maybe 400 birds:

The only poultry winner that had been announced that early:

Dairy goats are my favorite animals at the fairs--they always seem so friendly. All of them, at all fairs seem to love people.

There was a 4 horned sheep on display--or is he a goat?

There was only one black board leaned up against the wall I remember seeing. . hey I wonder what he done with that I'll have to ask. I wanted to keep that!
It was thin. .I guess it would've been slate.
It was a feed store for many years after it was the school so there weren't much reminisce of the school left.
