I'm still in FL...it's sunny and 75. DH back in MO says it has been pouring there. He's holding the fort for me while I help my 92 year old mom here.

We had rain this morning but now it’s sunshine

I just heard the first ‘eastern phoebe’ of the year... he’s right on schedule... probably already trying to figure out which porch light to build a nest on this year

unfortunately the new gravel acted as a dam and flooded the yard worster than it usually does.
Mason has decided he likes puddle splashing.
Yaa me.

Got my driveway graded and did my buddies too while the Ferguson was running. We got some pea to marble sized hail from the tornado warning yesterday... that was interesting for sure. We got 3" of rain in about an hour... I had to go out during one lull in the storm and clean the leaves off the drains.

Just some washout on my driveway. Didn't find anything damaged. Told my neighbor that I put Rusty (my truck) under the lean to and she said were is the backhoe... it's under there too, a bit tight but all safe and sound.

I did get a close look at my roof while cleaning out the gutters on the house. I built the house 22 years ago and it's getting close to time for a new roof. It ain't going to be me this time and no more composite roofing we will get a metal roof.
