calling any one from missouri

Well I'm not going anywhere today, so I am not wearing green. But I am part Irish. Family name Cochran. When they immigrated to this country in the 1800's, the Irish were despised and not welcome. Now we celebrate them. Funny how things change.

Been stocking up all our things we like to have on a regular basis that is not perishable.

Bad news is Missouri has had one death.

From what I can find St. Louis and Springfield are places to avoid if possible.

Unfortunately, I live about 45 minutes to an hour outside of St. Louis. Have really been trying to just stay home.
I work 3 days a week ( Friday, Saturday & Sunday) 12 hour shifts at an aerosol factory. Have also been picking up an 8 hour overtime shift on Wednesdays.
We have moved all the aerosol disinfectants and germicides up on the run lists so that we can get them out to the public and institutions more quickly!

Today I was given my "essential worker" paperwork to carry with me at all times. Supposedly the Governor of Missouri owns the company I work for! They have told all non essential personnel to work from home. My step daughter, who also works there, but is in the office, said that at first she was told to work from home for 2 weeks but now she has been told to work from home until further notice!
My hubby has talked with a couple of friends that have family members in the National Guard and he says that they are saying that the National Guard are supposed to be coming in and shutting down ( Missouri? St. Louis?) for "a week" including gas stations. He said they told their family members to prepare for a month. Of course they did not tell him a start date for this.

I've heard the same story more or less about the National Guard and Military. If you can work from home it's a good thing right now. I did a survey of the chest freezer and found lots of stuff I had forgot about so I made a list and put it on the refrigerator door to remind me what's in there.

This page lists covid 19 by county in Missouri.

So far Kansas City, St. Louis and Springfield have the most cases with 1 in Dunklin county.

That's all pretty unsettling.
I'm going to do an online order at TSC for chicken feed this morning, and when I go pick it up, I'll call from the parking lot and ask them to roll it out the door for me.
Chickweed is prolific right now. Do any of you recognize this weed? It's a tender wild green that is delicious in salads. Also, chickens love it. You can pull it up by the handful for them. Later in the season, it won't be as tender.
