Turtle management....
DH came in and said one of your turtles is trying to get in the garden...
It was CT2 (named by @Gray Farms ) and she wanted in badly. I assume CT1 is in there. I did not expect him to be inviting friends....
I made a little depression under the fence, lifted it some and she went quickly in.

@SueT You are making so many holes in that fence for turtles you might as well take the whole fence down so the turtles can have a garden party! ........ We haven't gotten any rain yet and the forecast is clear tonight for once in a millennia, its rained every night for such a long time

Chicken saga contines....Well Moonshine was attacking her own son, and sometimes her girls. I couldn't integrate the 2 groups of youngsters because Moonshine would try to kill R2D2, the other little rooster. So I put Moonshine out w the adults this morning. She immediately squatted for the rooster, and then went out and skirmished w all the hens, reestablishing her position in the flock. She was ready. She is checking out nest boxes, ready to lay again. I let all the youngsters together again and they are one big happy family. No one is crying for mama. They are 8 weeks old and big kids now.

Another hot one today, put a reed thing on the west side of the CQ's run to block the afternoon sun and added another fan inside the coop.

We went to the Dairy Shack to get our fix but they don't deep fry the hotdogs any more, they do have a deep fried burrito but I didn't try that. We just got regular hotdogs and after a chocolate covered waffle cone for desert. Glad we got there a bit early before it started to get crowded...
