Here’s the solo chick, Juno, now 6 weeks old. Now that she’s weaned, she’s a loner, no one else talks to her, but, on the plus side, no one bullies her either. I say ‘she’ but it remains to be seen if this is a female. I may know in time for this weekend’s poultry swap tho. In Spitzhaubens, the first telltale sign of a cockerel is the wattles begin to show, around 7 weeks.
