We had a toad-choker of a rainfall this afternoon, and we lost power too. It's back on now. My DH puts a bucket under a drainspout that leaks (gushes!) and the water was shooting out nearly horizontally at one point, missing the bucket by about 8 feet! Our spoiled plants and pets prefer rainwater over well water.

It was just under 100°F before it rained. It's 74 here now. I'll take it!

@chiknGeek I cleaned my fly traps yesterday and put fresh bait in. I usually clean them at least once per season because if you let them fill up too much with flies they start to lay eggs on the dead flies and well you know what happens next...
