Looks like we are getting some snow and the two hens decided that the converted nest box is a better coop. They kept going in the nest box at night so I took out the sloped floor and the divider and put PDZ in there and a little roost a week or so ago. Neither one is laying eggs so why not let them use the space they want to use to sleep at night. I have a tiny camera in there and one is on the roost right up near the camera so all I see is feathers.

- yes. Ours are sleeping in the nesting area too so I've been adding extra shavings to warm it up more and based on the depressions in the morning, they are laying down side by side on the warm pine shavings. At least their footsies are warm.
