BHYder, that is awesome. I need feeder grower and I need layer of course. I have VERY picky customers here in the city who won't eat anything that has animal products built in. They watched Food Inc. and now think that they are feeding baby chicks back to the chickens in feed. It is fine with me but I need non-meat based feed if I want to sell eggs...

Congratulations!
My addiction hasn't progressed this far thank god! LOL Although I have been looking at GQF cabinet incubator. LOL
I need therapy!
OK. Dave, I will check it out this weekend. Probably Sat. sometime. You really do have some picky customers! Thanks awesome that they are being so aware.
Hi cbrown..im sure I've seen others on byc from Joplin
You're right abt the chickens relieving stress (unless they're causing some of course lol). I think the people who don't like chickens may need the therapy
There's a place in St. Elizabeth Mo that has organic feed pellets for 17.90 a bag I think. Not bad for organic, andyou can get it soy free. If it were closer I'd get some for my layers.
Oh and I made the mistake of strolling by the Chicks at Buchheits yesterday...have 4 new blue Silkie babies now lol.
The guy said they are from Estes and they look pretty darn good for Hatchery Silkies! 3 appear to have vaulted skulls and the foot feathering isn't bad either.
