calling any one from missouri

It was nice to meet you as well. Paul has asked a few times 'are we going to go back to the chicken ladies house so I can play in the sand?'. He had fun too, and the birds are doing great. Today they visited the ducks, who are bigger than them, but were scared. So these two little chickens where walking around the ducks area and the ducks were huddled in a corner wondering WHAT are those things! It was cute. They have come out of their box/crate/tub a few times, very curious and friendly and they hardly make a peep.

I am so excited for the hatch, three weeks is LONG, like waiting for a pot of water to boil.

try waiting for duck or goose eggs.

I have some lav orps due to hatch this coming weekend. My temp has been lower due to crazy weather here. I am going to bring up an electric heater for the room the incubator is in.

To me to looks very similar to my black copper marans. But dont hold me to it just a guess.

Thank you for the tip! I will continue asking around on the forum and see if she could possibly be a marans. Do you happen to have any pics of yours when he/she was a chick for comparison?
